Job Title: Histology Tech

At K.A. Recruiting, we are seeking a highly skilled Histology Tech to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Histology Tech to assist in the preparation of gross specimens, embedding tissues, processing tissue specimens, cutting tissues, and performing various stains to provide data on the functioning of tissue and organs, causes and/or progress of disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Pathologist with grossing of specimens and preparation of microscopic slides.
  • Perform all stains, including immunoperoxidase, to provide data on tissue and organ function.
  • Develop and implement new techniques and teach others.
  • Meet the alternative education and experience guidelines set forth by the ASCP to become registry eligible for the HT or HTL category.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in a lab science and graduate of an accredited Histology Technician or Histo Technologist program.
  • Permanent and full-time positions available.
  • Shifts available: evenings or nights, with added shift differential.
