Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Ctl Engineering. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in performing geotechnical explorations and investigations for our clients. You will leverage your expertise and creative problem-solving skills while collaborating closely with institutions, municipal agencies, architects, engineers, developers, and project teams to deliver customized geotechnical studies, reports, and solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Perform geotechnical explorations, site characterizations, and risk evaluation on developments
* Train and supervise lab technicians, maintain quality reviews and certifications, manage equipment inventory and calibration, client marketing and proposal preparation
* Provide direction on a project to project basis, preparing lab testing assignments, reviewing documents, and testing results for content and accuracy
* Prepare geotechnical engineering reports
* Interact with clients on technical aspects of the projects
* Review soils laboratory test results
* Assist in planning and the execution of subsurface investigation programs, including understanding project design plans, locating test borings at project sites, coordinating underground utility clearance
* Design development and analysis of earth embankments, earth retaining structures, and anchoring systems
* Perform analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations and slope stability evaluations
* Monitor and enforce quality control standards and specifications

Requirements:

* 4+ years of experience in consulting engineering on various civil projects
* E.I. credentialing is required
* Already having PE licensure is a strong plus
* Education: BS Degree in Civil Engineering
* Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology is a plus, but not required
