Position Details
This vacancy pool is intended for temporary, part-time, non-tenure track teaching positions. Applications are accepted continuously, anticipating potential openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions. Assignments may be filled on a quarterly basis.
Teaching Expectations
We uphold the value of exceptional teaching. As a candidate, you are expected to:
1. Engage students actively in their learning process.
2. Maintain high standards in course content and delivery.
3. Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
4. Hold regular office hours for student support.
Qualifications Required
- M.A. in a relevant field with a focus on East Asian studies.
- Proven experience in teaching at the college or university level.
- Ability to deliver an interdisciplinary curriculum effectively.
- Commitment to fostering equitable and inclusive learning environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a related field focusing on East Asia.
- Experience with active, participatory teaching methods.
