Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Atlanta Heart Specialists. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and CTA scans according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage CT schedule workflow and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Produce high-quality images for interpretations and reports.
  • Work effectively with the front office to maximize schedules and patient flow.
  • Explain and prepare patients for CT exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Recognize emergent patient conditions and take appropriate actions.
  • Perform venipuncture and administer contrast materials as needed.
  • Take all required safety measures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
  • Monitor equipment performance and arrange for repairs or maintenance as necessary.
  • Interface with other departments to share patient information and coordinate care.
  • Order supplies for the CT department and assist with ACR reaccreditation.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the ARRT and one year of experience preferred.
  • Advanced certification in CT preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
