Position Overview:
This role involves executing designated imaging procedures in alignment with established departmental protocols and guidelines. The primary objective is to deliver exceptional care and treatment to the patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct imaging procedures by adhering to and confirming orders from referring providers. Utilize independent judgment and apply learned techniques in accordance with set policies and procedures.

2. Provide education to patients and their families regarding the imaging process and treatment being administered. Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, promoting teamwork, efficient resource utilization, and high-quality patient outcomes.

3. Generate high-resolution images and compile them alongside relevant patient information for prompt interpretation. Ensure accurate documentation is maintained.

4. Exhibit proficiency in performing prescribed invasive or interventional procedures as necessary, following established protocols.

5. Conduct and assess equipment quality control tests. Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and notify appropriate personnel to uphold equipment functionality. Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to safety regulations.

6. Uphold ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to radiology practice, including maintaining confidentiality of all work-related information.

7. Ensure smooth workflow operations within the department. Monitor and manage inventory levels of supplies and materials to prevent service interruptions.

Minimum Qualifications:
National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality-specific licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT) is required. State licensure, as applicable, is also necessary. Advanced certification in MRI must be obtained within 18 months of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
