About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Child Support Specialist to join our team at Intermountain Deaconess Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and educational services to children and families.

This role requires a strong understanding of child development and the ability to create and maintain a therapeutic milieu that meets the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and treatment to children, responding sensitively and proactively to their individual needs.
  • Support classroom teachers with one-on-one or small group lesson support.
  • Assist with daily transitions, such as from one activity to another.
Requirements
  • Two years of related work experience, such as Paraprofessional, childcare, Head Start, or respite care providers.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in social science or a closely related field is preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • 19 years or older.
