Job Description

Sunrun is seeking an experienced and results-driven New Homes Field Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our New Homes business by developing and implementing construction and planning strategies, managing a portfolio of projects, and ensuring high-quality execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of new residential construction and solar integration into new build projects, as well as experience in managing a broad spectrum of solar PV integration and installation practices. You will be responsible for working closely with our Build Partners to ensure proper execution in line with our Field Guide and Installation Manual, as well as maintaining high technician efficiency and quality across your area.

You will also be responsible for defining, documenting, and implementing our New Homes Field Guide in cooperation with key Sunrun stakeholders, and for maintaining close communication with our Build Partners to ensure timely responsiveness and an educational mindset.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop documents and presentations capturing the New Homes field installation, construction details, and best practices, as well as to identify potential project-specific aspects that may deviate from the standard Program and require special approvals or attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement construction and planning strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure high-quality execution, timely completion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Build Partners to ensure proper execution in line with our Field Guide and Installation Manual.
  • Maintain high technician efficiency and quality across your area.
  • Develop and maintain close communication with Build Partners to ensure timely responsiveness and an educational mindset.
  • Identify potential project-specific aspects that may deviate from the standard Program and require special approvals or attention.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in operations or project management.
  • Strong understanding of new residential construction and solar integration into new build projects.
  • Experience in managing a broad spectrum of solar PV integration and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and maintain promptness in responses and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $90,556.99 and $120,742.65 per year, based on location and experience.
