Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured assessments and treatments based on the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist.
  • Identify patient reactions to treatments and make recommendations for changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Document patient information and progress according to policy.
  • Promote communication among team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Evidence of relevant clinical continuing education in area of expertise.
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Currently licensed in the state of employment.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Patient and family teaching skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve complex cases.
  • Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
Compensation

Competitive pay rate with differential rates for evenings, nights, and weekends.

$33.09 per hour, with additional $4.25 for evenings, $8.00 for nights, and $4.75 for weekends.
