Job Title: Medical Care Specialist - LPN/LVN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a correctional facility. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to inmates under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse.

About the Role:

  • Perform nursing care duties in the assessment of physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients.
  • Take vital signs, apply and change dressings, administer medications and injections, and implement medical plans as instructed by physicians.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient responses, and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
  • Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient condition.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of recent experience as an LPN/LVN.
  • Corrections experience preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • Active State nursing license.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including day 1 health benefits, weekly pay, direct deposit, travel reimbursement, and state license reimbursement. Additionally, we have a $1500 referral bonus program.
