Butterball, a leading food production company, is seeking a talented IT Process Improvement Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a key member of our corporate office in Garner, NC, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT team to identify and implement technology-based improvements that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site process evaluations with operations groups to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and manage project plans using our project management tool, Smartsheet.
- Work with multiple departments, including CI, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Live Operations, IT, and corporate support groups.
- Complete online Process Improvement Specialist course from SSGI.

Requirements:

- Frequent travel to our North Carolina plant and live operation locations may be required.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand the impact of IT on different parts of the business.
