Hospitalist Physician

Altru Health System is seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join its team in Grand Forks, ND. As a Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or illnesses, providing expert medical care and guidance on preventative healthcare measures.
- Exercise professional judgment in diagnosing and treating patients, adhering to Altru's policies and standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient engagement and quality and safety goals, participating in activities and supporting department goals as defined annually.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring quality patient care and reimbursement to Altru Health System.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
- Doctorate in a specified field of medical practice from an accredited school.
- Must be admissible to sit for the Canadian or American Board or be certified by the Canadian Board and be a member of the Royal College of Physicians or Royal College of Surgeons, American board certification or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) board certification. Board certification in the area of specialty must be obtained within five years of employment.
- Be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the location of the practice to which they are assigned.
