Job Title: Attorney

Portnoff Law Associates, Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting a thorough review of files and determining the next steps in our collection process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and sign pleadings, ensuring they are ready for filing.
  • Validate debt pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and diary files for next steps.
  • Review files to ensure notice requirements under 53 P.S. §7106 are met.
  • Sign legal demand letters and resolve any issues before mailing.
  • Communicate with counsel and property owners via phone and/or email as needed.
Requirements:
  • J.D. with Pennsylvania License.
  • Entry-level Attorney with up to 3 years of experience.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Dependable with strong work ethic and personal integrity.
  • PC Proficient: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
