A Radiology Imaging Specialist is needed to perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good clinical skills, provide high-quality images for interpretation, and apply principles of radiation protection.
About the JobAs a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will work under supervision and according to established policies and procedures. You will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic exams, verifying patient identification and physician orders, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods for patient physical ability and limitations
- Acquire an accurate patient history and document in the medical record
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety
- Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate with customer service, administrative, medical staff, and peers on an inter/intra-department level
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- $93,500 estimated annual salary based on location and experience
