Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various environmental regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance strategies to meet regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, water quality plans, and technical reports to regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and enforcement schedule progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Masters Degree in Environmental Science or Public Affairs, or 2+ years of experience in a water resource-related field.
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Previous experience with Local, State, and/or Federal Environmental/Regulatory Agencies is preferred.
