About the Role

This 1099 position offers guaranteed weekly hours, with an hourly rate of $45-$50. The successful candidate will work as a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Iowa, conducting virtual assessments and evaluations, developing personalized therapy plans, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers, empowering them to effectively support their loved ones.
Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Iowa Teaching Certification is optional but preferred.
  • An active Iowa SLP license is required, as well as ASHA CCC-SLP Certification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with students with communication disorders, with a strong background in virtual therapy services a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and caregivers.
  • A fast and reliable computer and internet connection are essential for this role.
