Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides exceptional patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN assesses patient needs, develops individualized care plans, implements interventions, and evaluates outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.

Experience

One to two years of experience as a Lactation Consultant/Specialist is preferred.

Certifications

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification must be acquired within 12 months of hire and maintained.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to develop effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to provide a wide range of professional nursing services.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Licenses

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
