Frontier Management is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director to oversee the maintenance and operations of our communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of our facilities, including common areas, residential apartments, grounds, equipment, and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform a wide range of building maintenance and mechanical work, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting, masonry, drywall repair, small appliance and minor equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Apartment Preparation: Inspect and prepare all apartments for rent-ready status before new residents move in.
- Contractor Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of all service contractors.
- General Maintenance: Perform all required painting of apartments, general maintenance, ground maintenance, and other general duties as required to safely and properly operate the community.
- Transportation: Safely and efficiently provide transportation for residents when necessary, including transportation for resident activities, appointments, events, and emergencies.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an effective inventory and loss control program for the supplies, parts, tools, and equipment of the maintenance department.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all company, state, local, or federal health, safety, health, building, fire, and insurance codes or requirements are met or exceeded at all times.
- Relatability: Must be able to relate to the elderly in a positive manner.
- Maintenance Skills: Must be a skilled maintenance person for general maintenance duties.
- Appearance: Must be clean, tidy, and appropriately dressed.
- Safe Working Practices: Must use caution in performing duties and maintain safe working practices.
- Driver's License: Must possess a current state-specific driver's license and appropriate driving record.
- Education: High school graduation or equivalent.
- Compassion: Must have compassion for the elderly.
- Self-Motivation: Must be self-motivated.
