Lexington Country Club, a prestigious golf club in Fort Myers, Florida, seeks a highly skilled Security Officer to manage access control at the premises. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding the club's facilities and enforcing access control policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor entry and exit points, including gates, entrances, and parking areas.
  • Verify identity and credentials of individuals seeking access to the club.
  • Enforce access control policies, rules, and regulations to ensure safety and security of members, staff, and facilities.
  • Provide directions and assistance to members, guests, and vendors as needed.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, complaints, or emergencies, escalating issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity, incidents, and security-related incidents.
  • Coordinate with other security personnel and management to address security concerns or incidents.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a security guard, access control officer, or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
