1. Dispensing Medications: Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of prescription medications while maintaining proper dosages, instructions, and medication safety.
2. Patient Counseling: Provide expert advice on proper medication use, potential side effects, storage, and adherence.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning medication dispensing and pharmacy operations.
4. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance programs, audits, and patient safety initiatives.
5. Inventory Management: Manage and oversee the inventory of medications, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date checks.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other medical staff, to optimize patient care.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Current, active pharmacist license in California.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail, or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and medication safety protocols.
