About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Operation PAR's Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program in Fort Myers. As a key member of our team, you will provide individual and group counseling services to patients struggling with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

About the Organization: Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment services to individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. Our Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) Program offers quality out-patient opioid maintenance therapy to individuals suffering from the effects of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to patients with OUD
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Adhere to company standards and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (counseling, social work, psychology, etc.)
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Pass level II background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment modalities
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt to changing situations
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and move throughout program facilities
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
  • Good hearing and vision
  • Additional certifications and qualifications may be required
