Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Chenega Corporation. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with a variety of conditions, including neurological, general medical, post-surgical, and orthopedic disorders.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and other interventions to improve patient function and mobility.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate treatment with other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on proper care and management of their conditions.
- Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2002.
- Minimum two (2) years experience providing direct out-patient care in physical therapy in the United States.
- Minimum two (2) years experience providing direct in-patient care in physical therapy in the United States.
- Possess a current, valid, active, and unrestricted license from any U.S. jurisdiction to practice as a physical therapist.
- Possess a current BLS certification.
- American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certification or specialization in orthopedic, sport, and manual therapy.
- Experience and proficiency in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, sport physical therapy, and/or acute inpatient physical therapy.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
