We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to evidence-based practices and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to ensure prompt and efficient access to treatment for clients.
  • Develop and maintain personalized Person-Centered Plans (PCP) and Crisis Plans, adhering to Medicaid/Medicare guidelines and LME/MCO requirements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of all Medicaid/Medicare-related documents through the designated provider portal.
  • Proactively manage denied authorizations and re-authorizations, conducting thorough research and submitting corrections for approval.
  • Monitor client eligibility for Medicaid/Medicare benefits through NCTRACKS monthly reviews.
  • Oversee the submission of CCA, PCP, and claims to the LME/MCO via the designated provider portal.
  • Compile accurate weekly reports detailing all billable services rendered.
  • Facilitate Substance Abuse Intervention (SAIOP) sessions for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (M.A.) in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; or an Associate's Degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Maintain active LCAS-A or LCAS credentials.
  • Ensure ongoing credentialing with NCTRACKS and the designated LME/MCO.
  • Registration with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Board is mandatory, along with completion of all required continuing education hours to maintain licensure.
  • For individuals in recovery, a minimum of 2 years of continuous sobriety is required.
  • Demonstrate strong ethical conduct and professionalism, coupled with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
