MV Transportation is a leading provider of transportation services, committed to delivering exceptional results through its fleet maintenance team. As Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day maintenance activities, including managing budgets, scheduling repairs, and coordinating with vendors. You will work closely with our team of technicians and service workers to ensure that our fleet of buses is always in top condition.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with expertise in managing transit bus maintenance shops.
  • Experience directing a team of 10+ employees, including fleet technicians, service workers, and cleaners.
  • Familiarity with 80+ buses within the last year.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interface with clients and manage financial/accounting aspects of a fleet maintenance operation.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • ASE H series or manufacturer's certifications a plus.
  • Technical competence with light/medium/heavy duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.

Salary: $98,000 - $108,000 per annum
