About the Job:

PRS Auto is seeking a skilled Railcar Prepper to join their team at the Spring Hill, TN rail terminal. As a Railcar Prepper, you will play a crucial role in preparing railcars for loading new automobiles. This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience, as on-the-job training is provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect chocks, doors, decks, grates, and clean the rails with a backpack blower.

• Identify and repair defects in railcars, adhering to PRS Auto processes and AAR standards.

• Perform physical tasks, including bending, squatting, and moving plates to span railcars together.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50lbs above your head.

• Must be able to work at varying heights and pass a 7-year background check and drug test.

Benefits:

• Starting rate of $18/hr with a rate increase after 90 days.

• Medical benefits start after 60 days, and other benefits begin after the 90-day probationary period.

• Paid holidays, paid personal days, 401K, vacation pay, and weekly pay are also offered.
