Gardner-Webb University's Godbold College of Business invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Instructor of Accounting. We value quality teaching and seek enthusiastic scholars who will enjoy working closely with undergraduate and graduate students in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities may include teaching on-campus, off-campus, and online, as well as supervising undergraduate students in accounting internships and advising and coordinating schedules for accounting majors.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach in the undergraduate accounting programs.
  • Demonstrate continuing professional and educational growth.
  • Provide academic and professional advising to accounting majors.
  • Contribute to the ongoing accreditation processes.
  • Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the University and performing other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Eligibility requirements for consideration include:

  • Master of Accounting preferred; MBA with 18 graduate hours in accounting will be considered.
  • Research and/or consulting in the accounting discipline.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Record of successful collaboration and teamwork.
  • Commitment to the University mission.
  • Teaching experience in this discipline is preferred.
