The Custodian position is essential for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within our facilities. This role focuses on various cleaning responsibilities to ensure that all areas are well-kept and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing comprehensive cleaning duties across multiple areas including offices, breakrooms, lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, and production zones.
  • Executing floor care tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, dust mopping, and wet mopping, along with the operation of cleaning machinery.
  • Managing the collection and disposal of waste and recyclables.
  • Conducting glass cleaning as necessary.
  • Dusting and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Restocking restroom supplies as needed to ensure availability.
  • Following specific cleaning protocols to uphold quality standards.
  • Assisting with grounds upkeep and snow removal tasks.
  • Supporting the maintenance team and potentially participating in the training of new staff members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Commitment to safety procedures and skilled operation of powered cleaning equipment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards in assigned areas.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Capability to lift weights between 5 to 50 pounds.
  • Mechanical skills and experience with equipment maintenance are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment is beneficial.
