As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and coordinating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by our physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in emergency situations, including code blues and other critical events.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient care and outcomes in our electronic medical record system.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification from National Certification Corporation or Fetal Monitoring Certification (FMC) from Perinatal Quality Foundation.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Current American Academy of Pediatrics Provider Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) card.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
