Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our team as a Surgical Intensive Care Specialist. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, including hospitals and healthcare facilities, while traveling within your local region or nationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Surgical Intensive Care Unit environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs
  • Monitor and report patient progress to healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in the state where working
  • Active BLS certification and any required specialty certifications (e.g. ACLS, TNCC)
  • Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent clinical experience in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
