We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Imaging Department at OU Health. As a Pediatric Radiology Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in the Imaging Department, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
- Assist with minor diagnostic procedures and treatment, as needed.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing and intervening when necessary.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- ACLS (American Heart Association) and PALS (American Heart Association) required within 1 year of hire.
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
- Experience in pediatric radiology or a related field.
