About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to medically fragile children in their homes, schools, and communities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members
- Accurately monitoring and tracking clients' overall health and medical history during every visit
- Performing various healthcare tasks, such as taking and recording measurements, changing bandages, and verifying medication dosages
- Providing emotional and psychological support to clients and their families as needed
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing
- 1+ years' nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Current LPN license in the state
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and with directions
- Exceptional customer service skills and a compassionate demeanor
