Job Summary:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our long-term skilled care and transitional care facility in southern Minnesota. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and implement care, and demonstrating expertise in nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and implement care
- Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education to residents and families
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
