Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Crusher Plant Operator to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Ogdensburg, NY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our aggregate plant's crushing and screening process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and program automated crushing and screening equipment to produce high-quality aggregate products.
  • Monitor equipment gauges and maintain proper material flow to ensure efficient production.
  • Communicate effectively with plant employees to ensure smooth workflow and safe operations.
  • Identify and select suitable materials to meet job specifications and quality control standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on conveyor belts and crushing equipment, including splicing, replacing idlers, and lubrication.
  • Operate heavy machinery, such as haul trucks and skid steers, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the aggregate industry, preferably in plant operation and maintenance.
  • Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience operating mobile equipment and machinery a plus.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
