Manufacturing Optimization Specialist

Petmate, a leading manufacturer of high-quality plastics products, is seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer to join its dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of workflow and plans for equipment, procedures, and policies to increase efficiency
- Introduce innovations in production and identify cost-saving opportunities by performing cost analysis of new and existing processes
- Effectively communicate and execute company expectations and objectives to various teams
- Monitor and communicate project status, issues, and significant developments to stakeholders
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or equivalent from an accredited university
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling/drafting software, including FEA
- A minimum of 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a Mid-High Volume Manufacturing environment
The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, Petmate offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
