Position Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing your physical therapy expertise to evaluate patient conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and monitor daily progress towards recovery.
  • Educating nursing staff and patients' families on ongoing programs to ensure sustained improvement.
  • Communicating patient progress and concerns to supervisors and team members, assisting with patient scheduling, and accurately documenting charges in patient records.
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards.
  • Providing guidance to patients' families or nursing staff regarding post-treatment protocols.
  • Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Participating in marketing initiatives, team conferences, and in-service training sessions.

Requirements:
To be considered for the Rehabilitation Specialist role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Preferably, at least one year of experience in the field of physical therapy.
  • A current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
