Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology/Hematology Physician to join our esteemed team at Corewell Health Hospital Troy. Our well-established Hematology/Oncology Clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is equipped with the latest technology, including direct access to proton therapy.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in teaching activities with fellows, residents, and medical students, and work closely with radiation oncologists, primary care physicians, and surgeons. Our clinic is supported by the Wilson Cancer Center, which offers resources such as nurse navigators, schedulers, Survivorship, and other support facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background or interest in medical student/resident teaching and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. A focus on GI and GU is preferred, and CAR T Cellular Therapy experience is recommended or preferred. Weekend call is rotated within the group 1 in 4.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage medical oncology, malignant and benign hematology cases
- Participate in teaching activities with fellows, residents, and medical students
- Work closely with radiation oncologists, primary care physicians, and surgeons
- Collaborate with nurse navigators, schedulers, and other support staff
Requirements:
- BC/BE physician with a strong background or interest in medical student/resident teaching
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
