We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to join our team at NurseStaffing. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitative care to patients of all ages who have limited abilities to establish, develop, or maintain the ability to complete daily functions and tasks.
About the Job- This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a licensed occupational therapist to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and independently owned clinics.
- You will be part of an interdisciplinary team working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to help patients achieve their goals.
- Provide treatment using accepted procedures, techniques, and modalities, and document client evaluations, progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with existing criteria.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Candidate must hold a current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and maintain certification through the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
- A minimum of one year of experience in occupational therapy is required.
- CPR certification is also mandatory.
