Job Title: Watch Officer

Cambridge International Systems is seeking a highly skilled Watch Officer to join our team. As a Watch Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the integrity of our enterprise networks, systems, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor enterprise networks, systems, and services for abnormal behavior and report any potential issues.
  • Coordinate and direct teams in response to operational events, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensure all information is fully articulated to the JDOC Battle Captain to facilitate decision-making.
  • Process and report Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) for all local and DISA published ASIs.
  • Maintain situational awareness throughout the execution of ASIs and track enterprise operations activities.
  • Provide technical support for daily JDOC standup briefings and serve as an after-hours liaison for service desk incidents.
  • Initiate break-fix actions as prioritized by the JDOC Battle Captain and document non-priority requests/incidents.
  • Work closely with the Problem Manager to facilitate root-cause analysis and development of improvement recommendations.
  • Assist in the creation and/or improvement of documented processes associated with execution of Coordinating Activity duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • 8+ years of experience performing duties as operations, systems, or technical control watch officer.
  • Proficiency in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position.
  • Experience working in the DoD or Federal landscape.
  • Ability to maintain clear communication with a diverse team of individuals and eloquently communicate complex topics to non-technical individuals.
  • Highly organized and able to maintain structure and efficiency even in chaotic environments.
  • Problem-solver and able to resolve issues without granular direction.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task effectively to meet delivery requirements on time in an often-shifting landscape.
