Job Summary
As a Paramedic I at Parma Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients and healthcare providers with medical needs, including performing 12-lead EKGs, blood draws, and initiating Hep-locks.
- Conduct point-of-care testing, including bedside testing and quality control checks.
- Assist with defibrillator checks, refrigerator checks, and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
- Gain IV access as directed by healthcare providers.
- Delegated basic procedures as described by annual competency-based tool and orientation.
Requirements
- Graduated from a state-accredited paramedic program.
- State of Ohio Paramedic Certification required.
- Ability to work 11am to 11:30pm shifts.
