Contract PTA Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Converdia Health Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

This is a contract position that requires the PTA to cover medical leave for a period of 13 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the individual needs of each patient
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans
Requirements

To be considered for this contract PTA position, you must have:

  • A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state where the position is located
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a PTA in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
