Research Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Precision Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at the Center for Precision Mental Health and Wellness in Stanford University's School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Assess psychiatric and physical health and administer treatments through precision medicine studies aligned with scope of practice delegated responsibilities.
- Oversee study conduct and assure study participant safety, and coordinate and manage care for participant enrolled in precision medicine trials.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, researchers, outside clinicians, and other staff to administer treatment and study protocols.
- Assess, grade, and document adverse events; apply triage and judgment to determine course of action.
- Oversee and, as needed, administer medications and treatments per study protocol and scope of practice.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the California State Board of Registered Nursing. Certified as Nurse Practitioner by the California State Board of Registered Nursing.
- Eligibility to obtain a Nurse Practitioner Furnishing (NPF) Certificate, in accordance with Business and Professions Code, Section California Code of Regulations, Section 1480, et seq.
- Certification to practice as a physician assistant issued by the California State Board of Medical Quality Assurance. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
This position is based on the Stanford main campus.
The expected pay range for this position is $131,000 to $157,000 per annum. The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 50% FTE.
Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
