About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for forensic pathology to oversee approximately 200-250 autopsy cases annually from the western 32 counties of North Dakota. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in case management, public health, and death investigations, while maintaining a strong analytical mindset and professional detachment.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Case Management: Oversee approximately 200-250 autopsy cases annually from the western 32 counties of North Dakota.
  2. Public Health Focus: Benefit from North Dakota's low crime rate, which allows for a greater emphasis on public health within death investigations.

Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:
  1. BC in Forensic Pathology preferred, but not required.
  2. Inquisitive nature, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain professional detachment.

  • Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, with higher compensation for board-certified candidates.
  • Hiring Bonus: Up to $75,000
