About the RoleThe LPN will provide direct nursing care to our residents, performing day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will work closely with our Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services, and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements.
- Must speak and understand English.
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly.
