We are seeking a skilled Civil or Environmental Project Engineer to become a vital part of our team at Covington Civil and Environmental, LLC. In this pivotal role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and successful completion of a variety of projects under the mentorship of a Senior Engineer. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating various facets of project initiatives, including design evaluations, utility planning, and other engineering-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering and environmental professionals to fulfill design requirements.
  • Conduct research and compile data for CADD documentation.
  • Develop conceptual designs for proposals and reports.
  • Analyze survey data and create design plans.
  • Draft technical specifications and prepare cost estimates.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams for effective project delivery.
  • Carry out fieldwork for surveys and construction inspections.
  • Execute other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with municipal and private sector clients.
  • Familiarity with water and sewer utilities, drainage systems, and roadway design.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word software.
