Job Title: Database Modeler/Developer

CapLeo Global is seeking a skilled Database Modeler/Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing and developing efficient, scalable, and secure database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop database systems that meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Work closely with software developers and system administrators to ensure databases meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Analyze an organization's data needs and identify the most appropriate database systems.
  • Design and implement database structures, ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Experience in back-end data integration and architecture, including dimensional data modeling, database design, data warehousing, ETL development, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in DB migration projects, including Oracle to SQL Server, with understanding in designing and maintaining High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options.
  • Design the DB deployment strategy, DB maintenance across environments, and experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for DB changes.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in database modeling and development.
  • Hands-on experience in building new relational data models, tables, views, functions, grants, triggers, stored procedures, indexes.
  • Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory, and ability to manage users, user access strategies integrated with the application.
  • Knowledge/Experience in developing, hosting, and managing databases on AWS RDS.
  • Implementing security protocols such as encryption, access controls, and data backup and recovery procedures.
