Job Title: Research Nurse- Comprehensive Weight Control Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Nurse Clinician to join our team at Weill Cornell Medicine.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with our research team to coordinate and implement various clinical studies related to weight management and obesity.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate patient follow-up visits, assess study drug effects, and implement necessary nursing interventions as required.
  2. Evaluate patient eligibility for investigational studies, educate patients and staff on study requirements, and ensure adherence to protocols.
  3. Assist physicians in preparing IRB documents, maintain correspondence with sponsors and IRB, and collaborate with principal investigators on data compilation and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • License/Certification: Current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration, BLS Certification (American Heart Association), Infection Control Certificate
  • Experience: Up to one year of post-degree course work and/or an internship, less than one year of previous experience may be considered

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $100,600.00 per annum
