The Traveling Optometrist will collaborate with the Clinical Operations team to provide coverage for client facilities experiencing transitional periods in care.

This role involves delivering optometry services to assigned patients during this transition until a new provider is credentialed and in place.

MedElite will supply all necessary resources for licensure and cover all travel-related expenses, allowing the Traveling Optometrist to concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

Travel to geriatric facilities under the management of Swift Optometry, providing optometry services to designated patients.

Obtain licensure in various states to facilitate coverage during transitions to new providers.

Required Qualifications:
A licensed Doctor of Optometry.

Licensed in at least one of the following states: MO, MD, NE, with the capability to obtain licensure in multiple states.

Experience working with geriatric patients.
Enthusiastic about a dynamic and rapidly changing work environment.
Ability to travel regularly to multiple facilities as per the assigned schedule.
Innovative, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Not listed on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Compensation:
$200,000 per annum + Productivity Bonus
