Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing our rapid customer growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with Sales Operations and Customer Success teams to streamline the billing and collections process, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Review customer agreements and sales documentation for completeness.
2. Determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP under ASC 606.
3. Conduct revenue allocation analysis for multi-deliverable arrangements.
4. Generate accurate monthly customer invoices using NetSuite.
5. Monitor customer payments and initiate follow-up communications as necessary.
6. Prepare and record monthly journal entries within NetSuite.
7. Reconcile accounts monthly to maintain accurate financial reporting.
8. Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including account analysis and validation of financial data.
9. Compile monthly reports for management and address any discrepancies.
10. Assist in the analysis of budget versus actual results for revenue and accounts receivable.
11. Prepare audit schedules for quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
12. Foster relationships across departments including sales and customer success.
13. Document procedures and internal controls for the revenue cycle.
14. Conduct first-level payroll reviews using the ADP platform.
15. Undertake special projects and analyses as assigned by management.
16. Prepare weekly cash forecasts.
17. Review and approve employee expense reimbursements.

Qualifications:
- Strong integrity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and revenue accounting practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in revenue accounting within a SaaS environment.
- Advanced knowledge of revenue accounting principles.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Floqast.
- CPA certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A blend of public accounting and industry experience is advantageous.
