Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at the Georgia Department of Public Health. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and services in the area of women's health, with a focus on Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide LARC services to patients, including counseling and education on contraceptive options.
  • Conduct physical exams and provide treatment for patients, under the supervision of a delegating physician.
  • Prescribe medication as needed, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse and APRN.
  • Current certification in specialty area.
  • CPR certification.
  • Two years of public health experience.
