Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our legal team in the Office of General Counsel. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of legal documents, including motions and legal briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support to attorneys as needed.
  • Screen and direct telephone calls and visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate and track pending assignments within the Legal Management System.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, luncheons, seminars, conferences, and travel plans.
  • Prepare travel and expense documentation, meeting agendas, and marketing materials.
Requirements
  • Some college or Associate Degree (A.A.) and/or vocational or technical school and/or specialized training or certification required.
  • One or more of the following preferred: Legal Secretary or Paralegal Certification and/or Microsoft Office Suite Certification.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, local, and county laws, as well as policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with prolonged standing and/or walking. They will also be required to handle light weight objects and use or carry equipment.
