Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Michael Page. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and general ledger management support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and international accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audit requirements and addressing any findings.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
  • International Coordination: Collaborate with international subsidiaries to ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of financial results.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in financial reporting and general ledger management. Experience in an international consumer goods company is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
What We Offer
  • Salary: $70,000 to $95,000 depending upon experience.
